Movie recommendations please ! - MFS - 28-10-2016 Lovely Linda Wrote:Just wondering MFS, hope you don't mind me asking but are you a Christian? I don't mind at all, and no, I'm not a Christian... But in Sweden we all become "members" of the Christian church upon birth, but that has little to do with real confession... More administrative purpose, church tax and such things... I guess sweden is one of the most secularized countries... Do you mind me asking why you asked? Movie recommendations please ! - MFS - 28-10-2016 Then I will try to find that movie... Many of the ethic and moral values are great but plenty of them are found in other religions too... Visting a church regularly and/or praying daily, or maybe just striving to be a good human and wishing other all the best? I believe there is a common view of what is considered being a Christian person, but I believe most of what's good with Christianity is phenomenon that doesn't necessarily need to be tied to a religion or confession... just the motivation to act good to yourself and other people is what we all should aim for, unregarded confession... Movie recommendations please ! - Lovely Linda - 29-10-2016 My answer is to be Christ like. Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe in prayer. I believe in treating my fellow man like I would like to be treated. I'm Pentecostal. Movie recommendations please ! - MFS - 30-10-2016 Lovely Linda Wrote:My answer is to be Christ like. Christianity is not a religion. Ok, I believe we all, in one way or the other, are praying every now and then - no matter confession or lack of confession... At times we all need Something to believe in... But I guess this is a bit off topic and perhaps subject for a separate thread... But thanks for your answers...
