Lovely Linda Wrote:Just wondering MFS, hope you don't mind me asking but are you a Christian?

I don't mind at all, and no, I'm not a Christian... But in Sweden we all become "members" of the Christian church upon birth, but that has little to do with real confession... More administrative purpose, church tax and such things... I guess sweden is one of the most secularized countries...
Do you mind me asking why you asked?

Then I will try to find that movie... (The Fighting Temptations) Maybe Netflix or some other provider of movies have it...

No I don't mind.
I was just wondering with the title of the movie you are talking about.
I am a Christian. Since I was a child.

Ok... But what is your answer to what it means to be a Christian? Many of the ethic and moral values are great but plenty of them are found in other religions too...
Visting a church regularly and/or praying daily, or maybe just striving to be a good human and wishing other all the best?
I believe there is a common view of what is considered being a Christian person, but I believe most of what's good with Christianity is phenomenon that doesn't necessarily need to be tied to a religion or confession... just the motivation to act good to yourself and other people is what we all should aim for, unregarded confession...

My answer is to be Christ like. Christianity is not a religion.
It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
I believe in prayer. I believe in treating my fellow man like I would like to be treated.
I'm Pentecostal.

Ok, I believe we all, in one way or the other, are praying every now and then - no matter confession or lack of confession... At times we all need Something to believe in...

But I guess this is a bit off topic and perhaps subject for a separate thread...
But thanks for your answers...

A French movie with subtitles called 'Blind Date' on Netflix. I thought it was quite funny and a very unique storyline. And I have a thing for women in blue dresses with white dots/patterns and spectacles anyway. Don't ask................!
