I don’t - I'm not aware of an option to disable that function.
Others seem to be able to ‘reply with quote’ on my posts.

Richard Christopher ‘Rick’ Wakeman was born in London, England on this day in 1949. “Musician, Perpetual Weight Loss Failure, Senior Railcard Holder and Grumpy Old Man” is how he describes himself. He’s quite a funny guy! One of his gems – “I'm planting courgettes & runner beans this morning. I find hanging CDs on string keeps the pigeons away, especially when they're my CDs.” Lol!

He had intended to become a concert pianist and was enrolled at the Royal College of Music, but he ended up spending more time on the social aspects of student life and left in 1969 to become a full time session musician. He got his first big break playing the Mellotron on David Bowie’s Space Oddity, went on to join the Strawbs followed by Yes, and he has, of course, had his own lengthy and illustrious solo career - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Wakeman_discography. He is a keyboard genius. Amen.

Known at the time as One-Take Wakeman, an early session found him composing and performing the piano sections on Cat Steven’s “Morning Has Broken” which he didn’t get credited, or paid for at the time, something that was later remedied by Mr Islam –

Kyle Eastwood was born on this day in 1968. Son of the uber famous jazz and music-in-general-loving father, Clint, and despite that drawback, a critically acclaimed jazz musician and composer in his own right – double bass and bass guitar. Some very cool, funky fusion stuff happening on his Paris Blue album …

Vincent Crane was born on this day in 1943, Berkshire, England. Composer, pianist and mighty impressive Hammond organist for The Crazy World of Arthur Brown followed by his own Atomic Rooster. He struggled with bipolar disorder his whole life, which he ended on 14 February 1989 at the age of 45.

One of my favourites is from the Chris Farlowe years – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A0fk2V6g6k. And then there’s this – I had never really associated playing the organ with headbanging before, lol! Looks like quite a workout! …
