Movie recommendations please ! - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-09-2016 No, not a record, Star Trek, Friday The 13th, Halloween all have ten plus sequels. Nightmare On Elm Street must be pushing ten also... Then if you count James Bond, around 30 sequels from memory Movie recommendations please ! - Lovely Linda - 27-09-2016 I forgot about James Bond. Been several Bonds. The others I have not seen the sequels except for the second Halloween (I think it was). Was not good at all anyway. Movie recommendations please ! - Oceansoul - 27-09-2016 So, I watched Suicide Squad and it was... about something so the plot is pretty muddy other than the story being about using the villains as pawns, but I got confused when the plot suddenly seemed to change to something else later in the movie. Aside from that, The Joker has a few small scenes in the movie and he acts like a Mafia boss, so gangsta hahaha and I don't understand why either. Movie recommendations please ! - Jerome - 29-09-2016 The Big Short on Netflix. A very good look into the housing market and financial crash in the states. If I remember correctly the closing credits said 3 trillion dollars was lost, 8 million lost their jobs and 5 million lost their homes. The scary thing is those banks that were responsible for it all are still selling EXACTLY the same products but just packaged differently. History, it would seem, does indeed repeat itself. I should check that out. History repeats itself if you don't learn anything from it. Movie recommendations please ! - Music Head - 29-09-2016 Jerome Wrote:The Big Short on Netflix. Mainly revolved around the banks and how they were paying the ratings agencies to falsely inflate the value of the stocks. |
