RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 16-10-2020 39 million and counting - the last 5 million infections were in a relatively short space of time. UK is going to overtake SA with regard to number of infections. Europe is heading for a miserable winter. Ireland's figures rising quickly as well. Cancel 2021. RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 17-10-2020 ...and the next five million will happen even quicker with winter approaching for 65% of the world's population. i agree with the 'cancel 2021' comment also. i remember when Covid first started in February our Government said it would be a minimum of at least a year of chaos and another year until everyone who needs to be immunised can be immunised assuming treatment can be found by th end of the year". seems our Government are the only ones who have been totally honest and upfront with the population from the get-go. people here arent panicing about the virus but have resigned theirselves to the fact that its here but lets do what we have to do to keep everyone safe. RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 20-10-2020 another Covid milestone....40 million cases worldwide now, was 20 million on August 10th, so basically two months from 20 to 40. https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/global-coronavirus-cases-have-hit-40-million-doubling-since-august-10/ar-BB1aarnT?ocid=msedgntp RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 21-10-2020 Yesterday 40 million - by the end of today we will be at 41 million. Out of control for sure. RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 22-10-2020 Argentina, Spain and France all pass the 1 million mark. Colombia not far behind either. 1,200,000 new cases in one day. Shitstorm deluxe. RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 22-10-2020 And yet a certain World Leader said over night that it was "now in the rearview mirror" RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 22-10-2020 Biggest problem is that if the numbers continue to climb like this, and I believe they will for some time, how the hell are the hospitals going to cope? Emergency care workers are going to be overwhelmed. Infections are increasing at work as well. We had a few isolated cases a few months ago but more and more are starting to appear. Not good. RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 24-10-2020 surpassed 42 million cases now after another half a million cases overnight RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-10-2020 43,043,686 cases to date, the bloody thing is just escalating at lightspeed now, only going to get worse with 3/4 of the world heading into winter! RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 26-10-2020 Snowballing for sure. At work we used to talk about the infection rate worldwide - now it's all about how many infections have we got in the plant this week. |
