ANDY GIBB "dont throw it all away" B/W "one more look at the night" 1978 younger borther of Barry,Maurice and Robin.... i mean, who wouldnt like these songs, they were written by the Bee Gees, and lets face it, these guys knew how to write solid pop songs. single peaked at a lowly #61 in Australia here's Andy's Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Gibb "dont throw it all away" ** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HsNsXkWxWU tv performance "one more look at the night" ** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlIeGfMYPU4 audio link my Dad's singles collection.... - jazzboCR - 15-05-2015 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:CARLA THOMAS "gee whiz" B/W "for you" 1960 Anytime I see this song linked, I grab the cans. DIONNE WARWICK "you can have him" B/W "dont say i didnt tell you" 1964 i love this "A" side...very upbeat and country sounding for Dionne, but she nails this one to a tee... Elvis also recorded the "A" side in the mid 1970s, theres some bad recordings of it on the WWW, it was released on a retrospective live set about a decade ago. "B" side is more along the lines of what we expect from Dionne.... single peaked at #37 in the UK no Wiki, its located in the post above this one "you can have him" *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q98Lm9OyZ8 tv performance "dont say i didnt tell you" ** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bVy1sLVasY audio link my Dad's singles collection.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 17-05-2015 KISS "shandi" B/W "she's so european" 1980 both myself and my day are big KISS fans, always have been, and always will be... i love this ballad... as usual though, im not really a Gene Simmons fan and i dont like the "B" side, in Europe, the "B" side was released as an "A" side... single peaked at #5 in Australia her'es their Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiss_(band) "shandi" *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc7ljVxCvsI video "shes so european" * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ5PYzuzig4 video my Dad's singles collection.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 17-05-2015 QUARTERFLASH "harden my heart" B/W "dont be lonely" 1981 a blast from the last here for me.... i dont think ive heard this "A" side since the early 1980s, and cant recall reading anything about them since that time enither.... both sides of this single are pretty good.... single peaked at #6 here in Australia here's their Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quarterflash "harden my heart" ** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqeKV2UYq1Q video "dont be lonely" ** ......sorry,no links found for this one!..... my Dad's singles collection.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 18-05-2015 PSEUDO ECHO "dont go" B/W "living in a dream(live)" 1985 Aussie new wave/electro-pop band from back in the day.... i never liked these guys at all and i most certainly dislike both sides of this single... single peaked at #4 in Australia, the studio version of the "B" side also charted at #15 here here's their Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudo_Echo "dont go" * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBYa6cgHDEg video "living in a dream(live)" * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90PQZ7lNfTI i cannot find a live version from the 1980's so here's the video for it also, they had one single which was big all over the world, a cover of the old disco thing "funky town". this one made it to #1 in Australia,Canada and New Zealand, it also made it to #6 in the US and #8 in the UK here's the link for that one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnejLmQGYhg video my Dad's singles collection.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 19-05-2015 here's one you guys probably havent heard of previously....
