Peanuts are grown in queensland not here in WA, therefore it is the Gold,Diamond,Opal, or Wine gallery please....WA vineyards make the finest quality wines in the world!

Sorry CH - there are 3 wines I don't like anymore - OZ, SA & Californian. They are all to too tart. A tart every now and then is not a bad thing but not when it comes to wine. LIke Italian, French & Chilean, my favourite being Brunello 2006/2007 from Eeeetaly. Mother's milk for the middle-aged. I'm sure the wine connoisseurs are rolling their eyes in feigned disgust but so be it. Know absolutely nothing about vino. Just know what I like.

A gift from a mate. Had not heard this before other than the title track and single. Three other singles of which
the highest charting was Got It Made at #69. The album didn't fare bad at #16. Two great songs here for me and two
bad ones. This is only the third album by the boys, billed as a unit and the first in 16 years. This album would be
better described as an album of songs, written and sung by each of the 4. On most of the songs the harmonies are
not that prominent. Stills, Nash, Young get 4 tracks each, and poor David only gets 2. My top tracks happen to be
Neils, the best being This Old House. Never expected the same click for this as something like Deja Vu. That
probably in my top 10 of all time. Those masterpieces don't come along that often. This album is certainly not up
to par with that early stuff, but it'll pass. You can't go home again. That peace and love crap morphs into war and hate after awhile.

Midnight, that old clock keeps ticking,
The kids are all asleep and I'm walking the floor.
Darlin' I can see that you're dreaming,
And I don't wanna wake you up
When I close the door.

This old house of ours is built on dreams
And a businessman don't know what that means.
There's a garden outside she works in every day
And tomorrow morning a man from the bank's
Gonna come and take it all away.

Lately, I've been thinking 'bout daddy,
And how he always made things work, when the chips were down,
And I know I've got something inside me
There's always a light there to guide me
To what can't be found.

This old house of ours is built on dreams
And a businessman don't know what that means.
There's a swing outside the kids play on every day
And tomorrow morning a man from the bank's
Gonna come and take it all away.

Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.
Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.

Remember how we first came here together?
Standing on an empty lot, holding hands.
Later, we came back in the moonlight
And made love right where the kitchen is,
Then we made our plans.

This old house of ours is built on dreams
And a businessman don't know what that means.
There's a garden outside she works in every day
And tomorrow morning a man from the bank's
Gonna come and take it all away.

Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.
Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.

CSNY "american dream" 1988...#17 US

CS&N had repeatedly asked young to record an album with them for the best part of the last decade, but Young resisted, telling them he would only do so if David Crosby kicked his illicit drug habits as Stephen Stills had done. in 1988 they came back to him and he honoured his pledge to do so. i guess they were pretty glad it came to fruition as wht we end up with is thirteen good tracks and only one dud, Neil got four of the tracks on this one #'s 1,3,5 and 10. two of them rate very good here, the other two that are excellent are Crosby's "nighttime for the generals" and Stills "that girl"...a terrific blues song, a US tour followed the release of this album to critical acclaim and four singles made the US charts.
its obviously not as good as "deja vu" but it does have some nice harmonies and melodies.

Everyone talks about Deja Vu when it comes to CSN&Y but the one that converted me was Four Way Street. Superb. And in the CS&N-only phase 'Daylight Again' has yet to be beaten. Their finest hour IMO.

JOHN FOGERTY "deja vu all over again"....cd,2004

not a bad album, but nowhere near his best solo albums,
this album follows the tried and true Fogerty sound of country, country rock, swamp rock(well thats another genre) and a couple of country ballad type tracks.
title track borrows its bass lines from "have you ever seen the rain", final track borrows some of its melody from "the old man down the road"....theres also three tracks i just dont like here(unusual for me with fogerty)....with only one track that i consider worthy of '***' but no link for it!, but another one in track 3 comes pretty darn close(similar in feel to The Offspring IMO)...so click on that link instead.
not a great JF album, but still good.
