after three days of fine weather and temps around 21C/71F it was back to rainy conditions this afternoon..
max temp today was 19C/66F before rain came in after lunchtime,
heavy rain expected throughout the night and into the morning before clearing up for a sunny afternoon tomorrow.

4C/39F on each of the last four nights which was really nice, i love brisk mornings as they make me feel alive!
day temps have hovered around 17C/62F which was nice also....
Winter Solstice is today so the days start getting that little bit longer each day now....

Winter finally arrived here too. A whole week of storms up ahead. The southern tip of Africa really getting buffeted around!

Hectic - waterfalls being blown backward, rivers bursting their banks - really in the grips of severe nastiness right now! After the hottest June on record it's a bit of a shock to the system! Staying in, if possible, seems a sensible option!

i havent done a weather report for a while so here goes...
we just had our wettest july on record and also, pretty close to having record rainfall for august with almost two weeks to go...

first real warmish day we have had since the end of June.
even though it was overcast there was a sense of Spring in the air which coincidently, starts in a week...
