my Dad's singles collection.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-05-2015 LEN BARRY "1-2-3" B/W "bullseye" 1965 until i just looked up the Wiki i actually thought Len(despite the name Len) was actually a black guy... must have been the cool soulful vocals that gave me that impression i guess... but no, Len was a white guy which makes this songle i=even more impressive to me because he carried off the 'black soul' perfectly, especially on the "B" side which really has a Motown sound to it in the music and vocals.... i love bith sides of this single, this is awesome stuff... single peaked at #3 in the UK and was his only real hit out there.... here's his Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Len_Barry "1-2-3" *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhxFKwUyGsA tv performance "bullseye" *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3Yuonp-JYs audio link my Dad's singles collection.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-05-2015 time for another classic....
