watched the 'third presidential debate' yesterday after work(taped it)....
didnt watch the first two, they hold no interest for me, only the third with its international themes....
i thought both Obama and Romney had valid points,
thought Romney started off better and more confident, seemed to take Obama a good twenty to thirty minutes to really get into the flow of it...thought he finished off better than Romney, so i give the winner of the debate to.....both of them!
i guess i dont really like the idea of Romney wanting to arm insurgents in the middle east and threatening military action on Libya,
the problem with arming factions like he wants will come back to kick the US/western world in the butt IMO....just got to look at Afghanastan for that in the 1980s...the US armed and helped dig out tunnels in the mountains when the Soviets invaded, thirty years later they are fighting the same people they trained and gave weopons to and couldnt find them in the caves????!!!!!
that said, i think Obama needs to play 'hardball' a bit more than he currently does...i know, its a double edged sword they are treading, maybe a comprimise to find middle ground would be better for all concerned

K. I won't do a spoiler since you haven't seen them but I will say this. EPIC! :biggrin: Better than the other 6! Oh and I won't say why but yeah you should watch them one after the other. Trust me it's just tons better that way. The next movie I want to see is The Hobbit.

Cool! :biggrin: Another LOR fan! I played that and the Hobbit on game cube and the trailer for the Hobbit movie looks a lot like the game. I think that movie is going to totally own!

I didn't tape the last debate. I watched the usual news coverage afterwards and it appears that there was no clear cut winner. If Obama wins Ohio then he's in. It should be a nailbiter so I'll watch the results until the sandman comes!
