Off the subject but someone really needs to tell Nancy Pelosi Bush is not the Pres.
Geez, that old woman needs to retire.
What are those guys thinking who voted her back in office. Liberal must be it.

Oceansoul Wrote:I just read that 19 states opted against the ACA expansion with Medicaid which means that people who do not make much money, including poor and unemployed people may not be eligible for it. I found this about the issue: http://kff.org/health-reform/issue-b...sured-in-2016/

Patterns of eligibility vary by state.

Unsurprisingly, the people living in the States who opted to not expand Medicaid, to spite Obama, all suffered for that decision. (See: http://kff.org/uninsured/issue-brief/the-coverage-gap-uninsured-poor-adults-in-states-that-do-not-expand-medicaid/)

The question is; how many realize they screwed themselves simply because they wanted to vote against Obama and liberals?

Didn't know this before I stumbled upon this article. Over here the healthcare is even better than I imagined.

Indeed. One of the reasons the ACA was even created in the first place was to extend coverage to poor people who are uninsured, and that means people who would otherwise qualify for it don't because their state decided to not expand Medicaid. Now there are people who have suffered for that decision in those states. That defies the purpose of the law! The Supreme Court ruled in 2012 that the expansion should be a state option.

Probably not many of them do. Those who voted against Obama and liberals out of spite did a good of that, eh? Obama tried to give more people health insurance and reform the current healthcare system. The GOP have opposed the ACA since it's conception and now it'll likely be repealed.

The ACA has flaws, like maybe there is a solution to ease premium costs, but repealing it is not a good idea and there are people who benefit from it, including more low income families than before. The law affects people differently.

Jill Stein, maybe get off that high horse you're on. Most of the Democrats voted against DeVos and even tried to filibuster her confirmation. It didn't work! But of course, it was their fault. Rolleyes The GOP got the corporate nominee they wanted. And didn't you rather like Trump before all of this? Jeez.

She blames the Democrats for DeVos' confirmation even though the majority of them went out of their way to prevent her from being confirmed as the Secretary of Education, they tried to delay and filibuster her confirmation. Yet she claims that corporate interests on their side is the reason why she got confirmed. Like what? So the Republicans who confirmed DeVos don't have responsibility in it, apparently. Such innocence. Hmph.

Maybe not, but she did prefer him over Hillary for president. Since then Stein has moved to blaming the Democrats for his win (not exactly untrue per se), and pretty much implying it's a bad thing that he won the election after all. She doesn't like his cabinet picks like DeVos, I guess.

She just frustrated me. Why would Democrats even want DeVos in the first place? I mean DeVos has a privatisation agenda and is a Republican who benefits the pockets of other Republican politicians. That would be mixed interests much.

No conservative is going to flip over so radically to vote for the Green Party. Disillusioned Democrats might though. It's all pandering. That's why she was practically slobbering over Bernie to run on the Green ticket with her.

I agree. I just find her logic here to be peculiar...to say nicely.
