RE: The new project - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-10-2019 I feel for ya Jerome they become part of the family/furniture Animals are strange creatures indeed (Dissily/Jerome) RE: The new project - Dissily Mordentroge - 26-10-2019 (26-10-2019, 06:36)Jerome Wrote: Unfortunately my chief sound engineer had to be sent off to the happy hunting grounds yesterday. Her kidneys were packing up and I could not bear to see her in any distress. For fifteen years she put up with constant weird noises and general mayhem in my home studio and never complained. I will miss her presence. She was particularly fond of Brian Eno's - Music for Films. Go figure. Farewell my old friend. Small world . My Russian Wolf Hound (seen below with cousin ) was very fond of Eno’s ‘Music for Airports’ but hated organ music. RE: The new project - Ruby - 26-10-2019 ^So sorry about your cat Jerome. They leave giant holes. Terribly hard to see them go. RE: The new project - Jerome - 26-10-2019 Thx people - yes, very hard to let them go but you have to make their comfort the first priority. Everything else is secondary. And my vet is first class - Aoife McCormack and her husband Tim are a bloody good team. Been to many vets in my time over the years but these two are the real deal. Both very rare birds indeed. And they honeymooned in SA - so they have taste as well! Totally civilised indoors but ragingly wild out in the open countryside. The Russians hunted with them on horseback, three dogs at a time on fast release leads. If however the dogs spotted a wolf or some other creature before the hunter released them they’d often pull hunter and horse over. They are often mistaken for a piss-elegant, overbred fashion accessory of a dog. People who acquire them on with that basis soon learn they’ve made a big mistake. RE: The new project - Jerome - 28-10-2019 Klemen is busy banging away at his drum kit in Slovenia working on the last few tracks of the 'Scenes' project and I am busy banging away at the synths for my new electronic project. Have to say the studio is not the same without my old feline friend. Anyway I have had a stray cat living in my garden for years so I have decided to take her in but she's very wary of the studio equipment, lights & random noises. She looks at me as though I am nuts. She may be right... RE: The new project - Jerome - 31-10-2019 I have come to the conclusion that I work in fits and starts. Every time my sequencing package does not want to start properly I throw a fit. Technology just plain sucks sometimes. Grrrr. Play this to your stray pussy but NOT AT LOUD VOLUME. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-ISj_pEDgM RE: The new project - Jerome - 02-11-2019 Hilarious! RE: The new project - Jerome - 15-11-2019 Ok a few more minutes down the new electronic road. Updated the audio file with part 2 now almost complete. Not so sure about the melody line from the 3 minute mark onwards. Seems a bit vague to me in parts. Might have to rework that bit but the rest I am happy with.
