Canadian Progressive Rock band - polumbric - 12-11-2008 Thanks for the overwhelming response. you have greatly increased the traffic to HalfPastFour's website, which was exactly the whole point of the post. Of course it would've been nice to hear some opinions about the actual music, Tiggi. In the amount of time you just spent explaining how spam is bad or how bands need to use word of mouth, etc. could you not have gone to halfpastfour's myspace and actually listened to one or 2 songs? is that so hard? who knows, maybe you'd actually like them. Thanks for your comment, Palmer. Canadian Progressive Rock band - Tiggi - 12-11-2008 polumbric Wrote:Thanks for the overwhelming response. There is space for promotion of music on Music Discussion, but this is a community forum. Check the site name: Music Discussion, not Music Promotion... This forum has provided me with huge amounts of recommended music, and these have come from members whose opinions I value and who are here to Discuss Music. It's not particularly hard to check a band's website, and I would if recommended by someone who's demonstrated a commitment to music in general, and not just to a narrow interest. I know nothing about you, so why should I invest my time in checking out your recommendations ?? There are soooo many people doing what you are doing, and I have no interest in any of you. If you have anything else to contribute, I'll be glad to exchange views. If you don't, have a good life... |
