Recent R&B/Soul/Blues discs of merit--an ongoing series - jazzboCR - 14-10-2014
I got a thing for life-time sidemen who, when they get that front chance, make the most of it. BOOM! Mike Wheeler This guy has been rock-solid on the Chicago Blues scene for 30 years--anybody he hasn't played with at least once for real, hardly counts. Had a CD in '03 as well. Not to be confused with jazzman Mike Wheeler. Anyway Self Made Man "...brings Chicago Blues roaring into a new era." BM Mag doesn't prevaricate ...or lie either.
