Btw, I do like Hannity but he does get on my last nerve sometimes.
I don't like Tucker. Hope he will not be on FOX long!

Yeah, I'm not familiar with Gorsuch so I'm researching his record as a judge. He is pretty pro-life except he supports the death penalty, he is opposed to contraception, in favor of religious freedom, pro-state's rights, and a gun advocate. He isn't much different from Scalia, really.

Trump's Christian supporters will probably like him.

Politics - Lovely Linda - 01-02-2017

I am shocked Geraldo likes Gorsuch!

I am a Christian but am in the minority which is not unusual. I do not believe in the death penalty.
Most churches I have been to do believe in the death penalty for a reason I do not know.

All religious fanatics support pro life and the death penalty at the same time. Lunatics. Anyone who supports the death penalty should read Norman Mailer's book 'The Executioner's Song'. A chilling read. It might just change your mind about such things.

Christians should read the Bible. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

just like certain factions of Muslims with the Koran Christians apply their own twisted meaning to the words at hand...
which I find to be a common thing with religions/religious persons around the world...

I believe that that if "you do unto others as you want others to do unto you" and follow the "ten commandments" then you
have done your best, which as we all know can be difficult to achieve on occasion,
and you don't have to be religious to follow the Ten Commandments, to me, theyre the basic morals we should all aspire to have.

Anyone else read about the phone meeting with mr Turnbull?

I know you shouldn't believe everything you read in the papers, but nonetheless Trump more and more seems a child in my eyes. To be honest, I cannot understand how a person like him is allowed to be in such position.
And one thing is for sure, he is not promoting US in a good way

the republican establishment and the media did all they could to prevent it
but the people spoke with their votes
should they be denied their choice
not sure that would have gone over well

Politics - MFS - 02-02-2017

Of course, the people made their choice, maybe more out of discontent than anything else - that's how I see it
But his behaviour is like a childs, but I guess that at the end of the day it's the results that counts. Should he achieve some changes making life better for many people, they would care less about his image in media.

Well, now that was a reasonable conversation. Rolleyes
