Politics - Lovely Linda - 27-01-2017 I don't care who pays for the wall if it will benefit us. If we build it, they won't come  BTW, not to change the subject but I talked to the Marketplace a couple of days ago and they assured me the Supreme Court signed in affect a clause that will keep members in the AHC if they have already signed up. He read the law to me. So, no matter what Trump does the AHC is still here for who wants the AHC . Politics - Jerome - 27-01-2017 Increase the visa fee for people coming to America. Wall paid for. Simple. Politics - Oceansoul - 27-01-2017 If the environment in Mexico were to be improved there, then that would likely help reduce illegal immigration here. And illegal immigrants can still get here even if a border wall is built. Some already come here by plane and overstay their visas and others by boat. Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-01-2017 Lovely Linda Wrote:I don't care who pays for the wall if it will benefit us. If we build it, they won't come  and rightfully so Linda Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-01-2017 Jerome Wrote:Increase the visa fee for people coming to America. Wall paid for. Simple. that's a nice simple idea Jerome, too simple for politicians to think of though Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-01-2017 Oceansoul Wrote:If the environment in Mexico were to be improved there, then that would likely help reduce illegal immigration here. improving the environment in Mexico is not and should not be the responsibility of the US though... and the US Government need to make it as tough as possible for illegals to enter the country and if "a wall" is an option to keep a lot of them out, so be it. the US could then train more border guards, dogs etc and create employment in the process... Politics - Music Head - 27-01-2017 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:improving the environment in Mexico is not and should not be the responsibility of the US though...I believe Trump already authorized another 5000 border guards I have a simple solution start shooting them when they cross illegaly it'll dry up real fast Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-01-2017 im glad you wrote that and not me, but I was thinking it... employ ex marines/special forces retirees to man the turrets, pay them 'per scalp', are you listening Trump??? Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-01-2017 I watched some Border show a few months ago about them entering the US via Mexico... if they get spotted they head straight for the river, the US guards are not allowed to pursue them into the waters instead they cast off dinghy's to them so the Mexicans don't drown on their way back across the river...WTF!!! then they try to get in again and again until they eventually succeed, how stupid is that Politics - Oceansoul - 27-01-2017 I don't know, I think I can understand desperation though. If someone is repeatedly trying to get into the U.S. until they succeed, there's probably a reason why. If Trump places a 20% import tax on Mexico that he is considering, that will negatively impact Mexico's economy, and especially the low income people there. He'll piss off Mexico. Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray has condemned the idea. |
