for anyone who wants the trivia, it was his debut self titled solo set from '68 or '69 that was the only other album of his not to crack the top100.
I love Neil Young. Been singin and strumming his tunes for 30? years. Damn I'm getting old. (Used your post to get a quick curse word in....didn't know if it was allowed). Billboard doesn't know everything.

I think youll find that the albums that didn't crack the US top100 by NY other than the debut set were compilations/demo/boxsets and remix albums,
if you leave out the latest one which is predominantly a live album then the only studio album not to crack the US top100 is/was his debut set:
in fact his debut set failed to make the top200 in the US...
they released in in 1968, then took it of the market and remixed it again and re released it later in the year, it failed to chart then also.

[h=4]New Entries and High Climbers[/h]The Chainsmokers crash the Top 10 for the first time in their careers with their Daya collaboration Don't Let Me Down, up nine places to Number 7 and Calum Scott hits Number 10 (up two) with Dancing On My Own, his first UK Top 10 single.
Leaping 14 places to this week's Number 12 is Kent Jones with Don't Mind and also on the up is Ariana Grande; Into You ascends eight to 14, the highest charting so far from her Dangerous Woman album.
This week's highest climber is Jonas Blue with his track Perfect Strangers, which climbs 22 rungs to Number 16. Also on the rise is Shawn Mendes' latest single Treat You Better, his second Top 20 single bounces nine places to Number 20.
Finally, two new tracks enter the Top 40 for the very first time. Rihanna scoops her 45th Top 40 single with Needed Me, up three to 38. The second newbie this week is from MK & Becky Hill; Piece of Me is MK's first and Becky's second (not including her uncredited vocals on Wilkinson's Afterglow) Top 40 single.

Congratulations to Blink-182, who land their first Number 1 on this weekâs Official Albums Chart with California.
The punk-rock trio's seventh studio album - the first to feature vocalist Matt Skiba replacing Tom Delonge - has amassed amassed 24,000 chart sales to top this weekâs tally. Their previous peak on the chart was at Number 4, with 2001âs Take Off Your Pants And Jacket.
The band told OfficialCharts.com: âWeâre so excited and thankful to be Number 1 in the UK. This is the first time we have ever got a Number 1, and we are super thankful to all of you for supporting us.â
Meanwhile, last weekâs Number 1, Adeleâs 25, slips to 2, pushing Coldplayâs A Head Full Of Dreams down a spot to 3. Beyonceâs Lemonade lifts from five to four as the UK leg of her Formation tour continues, and ELOâs million-selling album All Over The World completes the Top 5.

Drake has done it again: One Dance is once again the UKâs Number 1 song on the Official Singles Chart, logging a staggering 14[SUP]th[/SUP] week at the top.
The rapper is fast approaching a chart record with the song; the longest stint at Number 1 on the Official Chart is 16 weeks, a record held by Bryan Adams' 1991 hit (Everything I Do) I Do It For You. Will he hold on long enough to match or surpass them?
He faces strong competition from two songs that make big gains on the chart this week; Chainsmokersâ Donât Let Me Down shoots from 7 to Number 2, and Jonas Blueâs Perfect Strangers up 13 places to Number 3 today. Both are now in a strong position to potentially snatch the title from Drake.
Making up the rest of this weekâs Top 5 are Calum Scottâs Dancing On My Own, up from 10 to 4 and surpassing Robynâs Number 8 peak with the original song in 2010, and Kungs vs Cookinâ On 3 Burnersâ This Girl slips from 2 to 5.
New entries and high climbers
Miami rapper Kent Jones climbs two places to crack to the Top 10 at 10 with Donât Mind, and Shawn Mendesâ Treat You Better leaps 7 spots to Number 13.
This weekâs highest new entry comes from Olly Mursâ You Donât Know Love at 23, and three songs hit the Top 40 for the first time: Moâs Final Song at 28 (up 25 places), Charlie Puth and Selena Gomezâs We Donât Talk Anymore at 30 (up 19 spots), and Selenaâs Kill Em With Kindness at 35 (up 22).

Biffy Clyro have hit the top of the Official Albums Chart for the second time in their careers.
Seventh studio album Ellipsis follows their first Number 1, 2013's Opposites shifted 37,000 combined chart sales in total.
The Glastonbury effect continues to linger in the rest of the Top 5, with Adele's 25 at 2, Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams at 4 and ELO's All Over The World at 5. Slotted between the Glasto gold is Drake's Views, which rises three places to Number 3.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Another five albums are new entries on this week's chart, including the long awaited sophomore album from The Avalanches; Wildflower is new at 10. Shura lands at 13 with her debut album Nothing's Real, slightly ahead of Aphex Twin who settles for 14 with his new EP Cheetah.
Lawson's second studio album Perspective is a new entry at 23, The 1975's former chart topper I Like It When You Sleep... climbs eight spots to 25 and is closely followed by this week's highest climber - Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, up 44 to this week's 26. Rumours is currently on promotion in over 600 selected retailers as one of the 60 biggest selling albums of all time in the UK...

#36: DJ Mustard Feat. Nicki Minaj & Jeremih âDonât Hurt Meâ â American producer DJ Mustard makes his top 50 debut with the Nicki Minaj and Jeremih collaboration âDon't Hurt Meâ. It comes from his forthcoming second album Burn In The Truth.
#37: Illy Feat. Vera Blue âPapercutsâ â Melbourne rapper Illy returns with âPapercutsâ. The single, which features vocals from Sydney artist Vera Blue (aka Celia Pavey), gives Illy a fourth top 50 single. His highest single to date was with âTightropeâ (#18 Jun. â14).

He may only want One Dance, but Drake shows no signs of vacating the dance floor as he fights off his rivals to claim a 15th straight week at Number 1.
This feat places him level with Wet Wet Wet, who notched up 15 weeks at the top with Love Is All Around in 1994, and gives him only one more week to go until he equals the longest consecutive run at the summit in chart history â the 16 weeks achieved by Bryan Adams in 1991 with (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.
One Dance, which features Wizkid and Kyla, was also the most streamed track of the week, racking up 4.33 million listens.
Jonas Blue and JP Cooper rise one place to Number 2 with Perfect Strangers, while Don't Let Me Down, from Chainsmokers feat. Daya, slips a spot to 3.
Calum Scott's cover of Robyn's Dancing On My Own holds firm at 4, and Kungs vs Cookin' On 3 Burners' This Girl is also a non-mover at 5.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Shawn Mendes, who scored a Number 1 earlier in the year with Stitches, breaks into the Top 10 with Treat You Better, at 9, while MÃ leaps nice places to 19 with Final Song.
Highest new entry this week goes to Katy Perry. Rise, which is set to be used in Olympics' coverage for US TV channel NBC, goes in at 25.
5 Seconds of Summer also score a brand-new entry, with Girls Talk Boys, taken from the new Ghostbusters movie, starting at 28, and French star Christine and the Queens vaults 11 places to Number 29 with Tilted.
