That's the Clintons through and through. Just cannot let go of that power now can we. Mama didn't make it so now we have to impose our wishes/aspirations on the kids. The Clintons are nothing more than a well heeled crime syndicate. Bill and Hill should both be in jail.

I have to agree with you CH - and at the same time also admit that I still get sucked into the conversation every time. Bottom line - I am so happy that the Clinton Cartel did not make it into power this time - they have been milking the system for decades. A truly vicious pair of thieves. I cannot believe that there are still people that cannot see through their blatant bullshit & corruption.

Yep, Chris Suprun is the only elector who went faithless and voted for someone else. Indeed, it would take 37 electors to do the same in order for Trump to lose the electoral college's vote and thus the election. And then, the decision would go to the House and they could just vote for Trump anyway.
I'm not that surprised at the results. It is difficult to change the system's voting norms and even though the EC can try to prevent someone from taking office, good luck getting a bunch of electors to vote against the chosen candidate of their state. The Hamilton Electors didn't have much hope.

In other important news, there was a deadly lorry attack in Berlin at Breitscheidplatz market, a Christmas market, which resulted in 12 people being killed and 49 other people being injured. :frown:
The so-called Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the attack, IS has said through its news agency that one of its "soldiers" (a.k.a cowards) carried out the attack in response to calls to target nationals of the coalition countries. Alas, the identity of the attacker has not been established nor can the claim be verified. German prosecutors have released the only suspect, citing insufficient evidence. He was identified by the media only as Pakistani national Naved B.
Officials suggest that the perpetrator or perpetrators might still be on the run. German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has vowed to punish those responsible for the attack as harshly as the law requires.
