A rare toe in Metallic waters for me.
Gimp masks, numbers, & overalls ?! Is this a case of style over substance, or just some very sharp marketing ?? Whichever, they certainly got noticed.
I've always loved Eyeless from this album, and every so often music like this is just what is needed.
Doesn't actually say much to me about my life or experiences, but I guess I'm not really the target audience.
Mrs Tiggi wasn't impressed, but I reckon anything that gets total nihilists dancing can't be a bad thing...

While I will always have respect for Ozzy, and I do own a few of the solo efforts, I would just prefer to stick with Sabbath. I did lose some respect after the reality show. A few good tracks here along with a few bad, then there's that stupid last track. His tenth solo effort. Let Me Hear You Scream is the fist single. Three of the songs have been released as downloadable to the Rock Band video game ans some other gimmicky promotional stuff which turns me off, but whatever.

One for you metal geeks. Certainly nothing here I would want my ears subjected to again. Aside from the songs, the mix (or something) on here is absolutely terrible. I'm not a recording guru, so I'm not even sure how to explain what I mean by that. To simplify, it just doesn't sound right. The ninth album and the first by the group in six years.

Motley Crue frontman with his third solo effort and first in 15 years. Two members of Slaughter make up the band. Only two originals here with the covers including Cheap Trick, Sweet, Aerosmith, Sex Pistols, Hollies, Scorpions, CCR, Elvis Presley and Elton John. I'm not much on covers, but the two that I wasn't familiar with I thought were ok, and also the two originals. Hang it up Vince. The title track is the first single.

Lead vocalist from Poison with his third solo album. Oh, and we can't forget his own reality tv show, as much as I try. Plus the latest Celebrity Apprentice winner. Buildng up an extensive resume. I like when his country side comes through here on a few tracks. Every Rose Has It's Thorn was a great song, but did we really need another version, even if it is a country version? Duet with Miley Cyrus turned out pretty good on Nothing To Lose, which is the first single, but why two versions on the same album. One is minus Miley, but not that different. Two follow up singles already of Lie To Me and Wasted Time. Really not that many new tracks here as a lot are covers, remakes or were recorded long ago.

One of the few bands of this genre that has managed to hold my interest throughout their career. I hav most of their material and this is the ninth, which did make the grade, although barely. Not sure what the Korn III thing is all aout, nor do I care. I'm sure this will grow on me, as the others had to. The anger that comes across in Davis's vocals always blew me away. The guy is scary. Hell, the whole band's scary. First album with new permanent drummer Ray Luzier. Signed to new label Roadrunner and back to producer Ross Robinson who did the first two albums, I'm sure this will top the metal charts.

Consisting of members of Mudvayne, Danzig, Damageplan and Panterra this socalled super group is out with their second album. Signed to the big leagues with Epic, the first one debuted at #8 in the U.S. so I'm sure this one will show some action. Go my head bangin' on a few tracks, so it wasn't that bad. Of course too much bangin' just knocks you senseless. Not enough good ones to make the list. First single is Hell Of A Time.
