Nasi Goreng.
predominantly a South East Asian rice dish usually served with chicken or prawns, i prefer it with the prawns.

first time i had it though was in Holland many, many moons ago which sounds strange but the Dutch have/had a lot of colonial ties with many countries in S.E Asia.

because of the spices/garlic in it i had to take my heartburn tablet prior to dinner...was well worth it though.
I/we have tried making our own stir through sauce but it never tastes as good as the commercially made product purchased in the shop!.

Dani cooked some Chicken Parmigiana type thing tonight.
not really parmigiana but her own concoction...
had it with sweet potato fries.

was a bit bland, something missing but neither of us could figure out whet it was that was lacking??

Pork Sausages and salad.

not the mass produced sausages from the supermarket but handmade quality product from the local Butcher.
