What Did You Buy? - Jerome - 27-06-2010 Dylan's 'Together Through Life' Like it. A lot! What Did You Buy? - Music Head - 28-06-2010 10 down, 3 to go Meir cd - $14 What Did You Buy? - gryphon - 14-07-2010 Not supposed to be the best ELP album nor the one that shows the band together and working to a creative peak........................................The album that the record company insisted that they make to fulfill their contractual obligations.........................................yet 32 years on it does not seem to have aged that badly nor seem as corny as I originally thought...................It is not really true to the ELP mission of earlier times but it does show another side to their talents and it does capture what was to happen to bands like ELP and the 80s loomed. There are some great moments : Canario and Memoirs Of an Officer and The Gambler................there are the three Bee-Gees on the front , but flexibility and the ability to respond well to a change of circumstances does equate to talent
What Did You Buy? - Music Head - 14-07-2010 ^^ hmmm........interesting never heard this one. What Did You Buy? - Jerome - 14-07-2010 Try 'Black Moon' - great return to form. What Did You Buy? - Jerome - 16-07-2010 Right - off to the CD store to buy Mike Oldfield's deluxe editions of 'Hergest Ridge' and 'Ommadawn'. And just to have a scratch around and see waht else I can find. |
