RE: What Are You Listening To? - Dissily Mordentroge - 06-10-2019 I’m guessing I can call this ’soft rock’. It’s so gay it gives this cynical old fairy the giggles. Did the production team snort too much coke making this one? RE: What Are You Listening To? - CRAZY-HORSE - 13-10-2019 ![]() BEATLES "let it be" cd 1970 twelfth and final release. recorded between "white album" and "abbey road" but shelved due to infighting. a return to basics, folk, blues, a couple of ballads and a 50's sounding rocker. probably their weakest album outside of the Yellow Submarine soundtrack. LOL, to say their weakest when it contains songs of the calibre of Let It Be, Get Back and Long And Winding Road is testament to the quality of their other albums. McCartney was never happy with the overdubs and addition of orchestrations on the final album by Phil Spector and thus had the album re-released a decade ago the way it was meant to sound, that release was called "let it be....naked". does also contain this underrated Lennon penned beauty RE: What Are You Listening To? - Dissily Mordentroge - 17-10-2019 RE: What Are You Listening To? - Dissily Mordentroge - 24-10-2019 RE: What Are You Listening To? - Dissily Mordentroge - 27-10-2019 Skip to 1.09 RE: What Are You Listening To? - SteveO - 27-10-2019 (14-09-2019, 19:45)Ruby Isn\t it fun to go ba ck into our music nostalgia and remember who we used to listen to the album with ! The moon and its reflection are blindingly bright – hardly need any lights on RE: What Are You Listening To? - Dissily Mordentroge - 27-10-2019 Told today this isn’t jazz but something called ‘lounge music’ I have to admit when it comes to categories of non-classical stuff I often get muddled. So, I’ve decided to call this jazz anyhow. Anyone disagreeing tell me where to put it - the clip that is. RE: What Are You Listening To? - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-10-2019 ive always thought of Lounge Music as a sub-genre under the Jazz umbrella RE: What Are You Listening To? - Dissily Mordentroge - 27-10-2019 (27-10-2019, 11:03)CRAZY-HORSE Wrote: ive always thought of Lounge Music as a sub-genre under the Jazz umbrella Obviously the Jazz umbrella covers a multitude of sins. |
