Six to eight weeks of campaigning sounds much better than almost a year or so of it like here tbh. And yeah, the Election process seems to start too early, IMO. In 2012 when President Obama won his re-election, people and the media already starting talking about the next election mainly speculating about whether Hillary will run in 2016 and he is just like, "Hey guys, I just got elected again. I have a few more years to go." Too soon, haha.

I was referring to her "friend" Jay-Z. Didn't even mention the F word used every few.

^^ This was at her Cleveland Ohio Rally.

For the last early voting day here, the lines were long. Think maybe peeps here waited like me till the last eary voting day to vote.

Missouri will allow early voting, but apparently you need some kind of valid excuse for doing so, ex: you won't be able to make it to the designated voting place due to health problems or something else. Well technically my State calls it absentee in-person voting instead.

I'm just going to vote on Tuesday.

I have voted in every Canadian election since I was 18! Federal, Provincial and Municipal! I believe it is my democratic duty...vote for your choice Tuesday my great American friends!...looks like another close one...polarized electorate as usual for the most part!

This is actually my first time voting, woe is me haha. I will do so since I might regret it if I don't do anything on Election Day. I also want to vote for local and state officials here as well and there are a couple of propositions I'm concerned about.

I know people in real life who won't vote or who decided not to register. I empathize with them though I likely will vote and I'm registered.

Just locker room banter. Nothing out of the ordinary.

CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:a President gets voted, and basically halfway through the term of office the election process starts all over again, I just don't get that, its ridiculous IMO..

you should condense it down,
here, an election date is announced and its sometimes only six to eight weeks of campaigning before we have to vote, similar in the UK also, I believe.

It's about money CH. It's not about leadership anymore. The American election is starting to look like a bad soap opera. Reality TV at it's worst.

I wouldn't put this past Trump as a staged publicity stunt to gain support! (and sympathy)
