Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 02-11-2016 it appears that Trump has had his own email/official business document scandals since around 1973 with his father whereby he appears to have destroyed and shredded documents subpoenaed for courts and other official agencies, he's also been accused and on more than one occasion found to have lied on signed/sworn affidavits: heres the article: http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/trumps-missing-emails/ar-AAjEtzF Politics - Oceansoul - 03-11-2016 In other news, Sen. Ted Cruz has stated that the GOP may attempt to block a Democratic President's appointed nominees from filling the vacant Supreme Court seat indefinitely. He said on Wednesday that he thinks there is a precedent to limiting the Supreme Court to just eight judges. Interpret that as you will. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/1...lockade-230363 Politics - Lovely Linda - 03-11-2016 5 more days. thank goodness it's almost over. I don't think anyone really pays that much attention to ted cruz anymore. he hurt his self. looks like hillary's top aide might be going to jail for her. who knows. what some peeps won't do for that woman. still have not voted. just don't feel like voting but tomorrow if nothing else comes up, i may just get it over with. been very busy getting ready for surgery. Politics - Lovely Linda - 03-11-2016 seems i may be better off going blind. deductables are sky high with the affordable health care. already 1500.00 and not even had surgery yet. ahc is no longer affordable. out of the ahc next year. i think alot of peeps will be pulling out. Politics - Jerome - 03-11-2016 From an article on the web. 'One writer â Linda Tirado â points out that, on average, Hilary Clinton is paid the equivalent of 37 years of Americaâs median wage every time she speaks to bankers. Imagine how much more sheâd be paid if economics or banking were her areas of expertise? Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 03-11-2016 just one question Jerome (or anyone else).... what could she possibly speak to Bankers about to hold them captivated and enthralled if not economics/banking???? I just don't get it. Politics - Jerome - 03-11-2016 I think the bankers and others hope that they are going to get some 'inside information' - but of course they never do. Just a money-making exercise. 90% of these dinner-speech events are just about the speaker telling stories about themselves and seldom imparting any knowledge. Complete BS and nothing more. Most of those 'motivational' speakers are useless as well. Basically just telling you what you already know. I think people go to these things to (a) make themselves feel better (b) to give themselves something to do © to meet other people who are as screwed up as they are so they can feel important. Roger Waters was right - people are like sheep and the dogs and the pigs are going to take advantage of that. At a price of course.......... Politics - Lovely Linda - 04-11-2016 i can't believe at this point the polls are flip flopping. must be younger voters and hispanics. all the rest of us know trump and hillary too well. Politics - Lovely Linda - 04-11-2016 While Hillary is calling Trump a person associated with the KKK, she was friends with a democrat who really was a KKK member. Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 04-11-2016 I saw an interview earlier today with George W Bush's speechwriter, I think his name was something like David Frum (forgive me if its wrong), he said he is voting for Clinton, also said Obama needs to be out there campaigning more fro her as the black voters don't like her, he needs to change their minds... that said, he did say she is probably corrupt and crooked... he was also asked about what he thinks will happen when either Hillary or Trump get elected, he believes Hillary will still be dogged by the email scandal and the opposition will keep pushing or enquiries over her entire term which means nothing will get done under her. he believes Trump will put the country into a constitutional crisis the likes have never been seen before in the US, (this will apparently take decades to fix in the aftermath) he will twist and push the law to their limits, and most probably break US constitutional laws to get what he wants, he will go after everyone who supported Clinton and also those who spoke about about him in the last year or so. and as we already know...Trump thinks about what is best for Trump and no one else. now this guy Frum or whatever his name is, sounds pretty honest to me, so you guys have a choice.... 1. vote for nothing, no changes or 2. vote for total chaos in your political system that will take decades to fix I guess he is saying, vote for Hillary and nothing will change for four years, then next time there will be viable options to vote for, or vote for Trump and he will destroy the constitutional process. |
