I've listened to a bit of Weather Report - not really my thing, but I know the band and its constituent members get a lot of respect in the jazz-fusion world. A couple of them worked with Joni Mitchell during her jazzy period.

Re: Zawinul; he's a keyboardist from Weather Report. As WR got older, he got super into synths and started making some really cool sounds. He also went in a more "World Music" direction after splitting from WR. "Stories of the Danube" is a concerto-like work, though, admittedly, I found the thing fairly underwhelming. I'll have to relisten at a later time and see if I change my mind. For a really cool listen, look into his "Dialects" album; entire thing is synths and drum machines.
Seeger Sessions: Just the basic one. Was also $2.99, so I felt I had to grab it. I had heard a bunch of the "Live in Dublin" album when I had a few months of SiriusXM for free and listened to a bunch of "E Street Radio." Admittedly, I find the studio versions to fall fairly flat. "Ms. McGrath" and "We Shall Overcome" are pretty great though. I've got a bootleg from the tour as well, and that one's great. The Sessions Band translated a lot better live than in studio, I think.
