Just received yesterday:
Beto Guedes - Sol de Primavera
One of two albums by this artist that I picked up - on vinyl of course - in Brazil in 1980. Been waiting for ages to locate CD copies so I can listen to them again, and now I have them both. This album contains a version (in English) of Norwegian Wood - a rather strange treatment and I don't like it all that much. The rest of the songs are his own, and are of course in Portuguese.

there is not much I would want to listen to that is not available online
being retired and always home allows me the luxury of what I want when I want for free
why purchase other than to accumulate more stuff

I think I may have purchased a couple of cds last year, the rest were from giftcards,
personally, im over purchasing cds, I just get what I can with the giftcards unless something I really want
gets released..ie: my half dozen or so favourite artists.
but I did try purchasing Kasey Chambers latest on Saturday, I didn't put much effort into finding it though,
only going to one store which didn't have it so I gave up, a few years ago I would have kept searching till I
found it that day,
when I see it I will get it, the world isn't going to fall apart if I don't get it straight away.

The newest additions to my CD collection (I also have vinyl/cassette collections) are Jim Lea's Therapy, and after seeing the CNN Film The History of Chicago, I bought their original greatest hits CD from the year Terry Kath died. All those songs are GREAT. They just went downhill after his death.
