As a political junkie at heart, enough already!

Trump has said he is going to sue the women who have accused him of sexual harassment and inappropriate touching after the election is over.

He keeps saying that their claims have been largely debunked, but that's not true. Check this out

Oy vey.

I keep telling myself that too. I get really into politics and have taken Politics and Government courses on purpose and been to Girls State, know what's going on locally, involved in activism, etc. But yeah, this election is a madhouse and I can't wait for it to be over, I keep getting back into debating even though I know it is pointless. Haha.

Trumps
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9n7g8rTiaY

Clintons
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA2m4jrZJeY

the dinner is an annual roast event for the wealthy or well connected of NYC
all the politicians show up

Al Smith (democrat) was a 4 time governor of NY and ran for President twice
losing to Hoover in 1928
ran again but the Roosevelt reign had come

as I mentioned before
I think they both took some tough jabs
there were only a few actual funny jokes from each
and the rest was landing some low blows
any similarity to a friendship here is completely forced
Chris Wallace from the third debate was on OReilly last night. He basically told Bill Trump and Hillary
disliked each other with a passion but after hearing what the Dems and Repubs said about each other in the past, I find that hard to believe.
I mean it is not like Bill and Hillary have changed enough for Trump to call them enemies now. We all knew Hillary and Bill before the debates.
Nothing she could say we did not already know. The media were talking about us getting to know Hillary.
Give me a break. I don't know where they thought we were. I guess with our head in the sand.

BTW, i can't stand to listen to Bill O. anymore. I just catch the tail end of his show while waiting for Kelly.
He thinks we are all idiots. I heard him say a couple of nights ago that we know nothing about foreign policy.
Who does he think he is. I'm surprised he still has the No.1 show.

Or using Bill's own words, he thinks we are pinheads :hand:
Right back at you Bill.

About the dinner, I heard some of it. It was a bit awkward to say the least referring to the atmosphere of the room. It could be that the awkward tension was manufactured and they do get along. They don't seem to have much warmth between them when they are together, especially during their debates. But, that's not too surprising.

I just got my new voter ID in the mail! I'm so happy! I'm ready to go for election day.

Don't know who Bill O is but there is one thing I have heard from many people through the years during my travels. Americans do not know what is going on outside of America. I never hear Americans discussing things going on in other parts of the world unless there is some connection to America. They don't seem to realise that there is a big world out there. Even on this forum, we are discussing the American election, yet I do not see any ongoing discussion about Brexit or any other political situation going on in any other country in the world. Why is that?
