Doesn't take much searching through the Net to find out there are rumors about Obama serving more than 2 terms. I hope it is not true but I would not be surprised at all if he finds a way to make it happen.

Wouldn't take much searching through the 'Net to find a rumor that we've all been hollowed out and replaced by Venusians. Here's how it works: one or two of the louder blowhards say that rumor has it that XXX...without telling you that they or a staffmember or stringer made it up whole-cloth. It's then virally dispersed by trend-sucker-uppers or those with an ax to grind. Be realistic: Why would he want such a thing? Just to hold off Hillary's advance? I think he's a better man than that. Plus his kids only have a half-ass chance at anything like a normal life now--what would X years more do to them? Pres. Obama has been a severe disppointment to those of us Progressives--He would not be the hard-nosed politician it would have taken to get his programs through at all, and those that survived the process, were severely watered-down or fatally compromised.
Bottom line: I join with you in hoping this is just vapor, due to blow away soon. But you watch--somebody somewhere is gonna come across your post and throw that log on the fire. Have a nice day.

Venusians ?.... you mean I'm a &^%$&* VENUSIAN ? .... hey, that might actually come in handy soon, if this warming thing keeps up like it is !

I don't know though.... seems like if the constitution could be usurped so much as to give El Presidente more terms, Karl Rove and the think tank boys from Neo-Brazil would've figured out a way , for Dubya .

Agreed. On the other thing, think I'd miss this opportunity? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LhkyyCvUHk or this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH3WvI_S6-k Much less this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fakpqLDEQAo << not that you're Goddess of Love. No no.

https://forums.craigslist.org/?ID=248451317 << noted without comment...but I will if you ask nicely. Then there's this: https://forums.craigslist.org/?ID=248453336 << You do know that the max income you'll be taxed on for Social Security is >$114,000?...everything above that is SS tax-free. How's that for scandalous? And then there's the 1.6 Trillion (that's "trillion") held hostage off-shore by the US Fortune 500. Next time somebody complains about taxes (which overwhelmingly apply to labor but not capital), remind them of this: http://ctj.org/ctjreports/2012/12/fortune_500_corporations_holding_16_trillion_in_profits_offshore.php And hey, don't get me started on tax expenditures like the ethanol-from-corn boondoggle. In addition to the direct costs, there's the fact that it drives up dramatically the costs of feedstock to cattle, etc. Ethanol from sugar cane is much the better way to go (as Brazil has done, successfully) but corn growers had the bigger lobby and more Congressional marketing muscle.: http://www.taxpayer.net/library/article/taxpayer-supports-for-corn-ethanol-in-federal-legislation

I'd go for the original Venus , from when I was about 8 , but I'm not you're Frankie Avalon, either, not by any stretch ,

As long as the general electorate votes for them !!!!! Twelve years is the longest in recent times! Provincial (state) politics are terrible, terms of more than 12 years or four elections are common !!!! Provinces like Alberta for instance always vote Conservative !!!!...land of cowboys and cowgirls !!!!...lol

Man some of those politicians where you are can seem to serve forever! If you don't mind me asking Steve what is it you don't like about your PM? I could write a book about what I don't like about ours and what I am suspicious of him.
