and according to WHO 500 million contracted the flu last year, 650,000 serious complications that required hospitalisation but recovered and a further 650,000 worldwide deaths.

I have Covid-19 fatigue.
20,125 cases, 369 deaths, R.I.P. (incidentally the overall death rate is substantially lower then it normally is), 8,950 recovered cases, 10,806 active, 119 critical - so they report at any rate.
Four days shy of two months of lockdown which has been flagrantly not adhered to by many millions because they can't, so the numbers should be way higher IMHO - where are they I wonder?? Abundant misinformation, military law, ridiculous rules about what you can and cannot buy (especially with regard to clothing - it's embarrassing) and who can and cannot work, hundreds of thousands of jobs lost, a tanked economy and no damn wine. Patience exceedingly stretched at this point!

I am a bit nervous regarding the opening of the US/Can border ! Another monthly extension until 21 June. I am hoping our PM stands up to Trump until the Americans have a greater handle on the virus !
