Currently Watching? - Tiggi - 07-01-2012 Channel 4 documentary from Nick Broomfield about former U.S. Republican vice-pesidential candidate. I promise I'm not running a Republican-bashing jihad, as this was recorded three or four weeks ago. Palin has always fascinated me. I'm really not her target audience, but can understand her surface appeal, and acknowledge her charisma. This doc was filmed in her home town of Wasilla, and includes countless interviews with family, friends & former colleagues. Her treatment by the press in the past means that nearly no-one in the Palin camp will speak to Broomfield, so the doc is dominated by those that aren't afraid to speak out about her. If we allow that anyone in the public arena will have enemies, then there will always be people from her past with an agenda, but if only half of what was revealed is true, she is an evil, spiteful, woman that really doesn't belong in politics IMV. I can only base my views on the information presented, but on the evidence of this I really don't like what Sarah Palin stands for... Currently Watching? - SteveO - 07-01-2012 Being an outside observer and watching her interviews and appearances on the tube, I never really took her seriously even though millions of Americans do ! Currently Watching? - Music Head - 07-01-2012 Sara, Sara Whatever made you want to change your mind Sara, Sara So easy to look at, so hard to define. Currently Watching? - Music Head - 08-01-2012 VH1 Countdown show #1 is Katy Perry's The One That Got Away gotta confess, it grew on me Currently Watching? - SteveO - 08-01-2012 Music documentary series Metal Evolution on Much Music Canada with Canadian Sam Dunn chronicling the history of heavy metal from Blue Cheer (Vincebus Eruptum album-Summertime Blues) to the present day. Nu Metal genre was featured detailing the fusion of hip hop and metal. Some interesting sounds ...groups in live performance were Faith No More, Slayer (Diabolus in Musica nu metal album), Sepultura, Korn, Rage Against the Machine, Deftones, the controversial Limp Bizkit (Fred Durst) blamed with inciting riots at Woodstock 99 and Linkin Park. Currently Watching? - evilB - 08-01-2012 An interesting series Steve. I've enjoyed each of the episodes I've seen - missed the nu metal one (will watch for it being replayed). My hope is the series will be replayed soon - looks like there are 12 parts to the series - Metal Evolution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Good fun for those interested!
