^^
on your two stories Jerome:

1: 'monstrosity' is an understatement!

2: i am speechless, WTF.

I think the world at large has a bad case of The Emperor's New Clothes. What a con.

People will never learn, re animals. Just not fair.

Prices in Ireland have gone completely bananas. 800Euro per night for a B&B room!!! An American woman was quoted 50,150 Euros for three weeks car hire. She could have bought the same car brand new for 45K Euros. And it would have been cheaper to hire a helicopter for the three weeks. Energy and fuel prices are out of control. Some of the energy companies have now put their prices up 4 times this year.

that is just nuts
and when the bubble bursts, look out, major recession to rival "the great depression" is on the horizon

Oh well, it appears that Ireland and the UK are supposedly heading for power blackouts this winter. 'Welcome to my world' I hear Ruby saying in the background. Will have to take stock of things and dump those that I don't need. Turn down settings on the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier etc. etc. At least my blow-up doll will still be functioning...does not need power - just plasters from time to time! Might buy one of those Bluetti things to keep PC's, tablet, TV and phone going. It's going to be interesting to see how the younger generation cope without electricity...!

Lol! That’s exactly what I’m saying. Except we seem to be having a reprieve – temporarily, I’m sure! Inverters are the answer – and a sense of humour – and wine (not whine) - and in our instance an app called EskomSePush Big Grin . Literally everyone uses it. Go on – invent an app … and go easy on the foot pump.

I am actually busy building a contraption (inverter linked to solar panels) for a mate of mine to power up certain parts of his home.

'A pomp's a pomp ou pal...'

Amazing what humans are capable of. Who would have thought.

I remember reading an article about a cat who would jump up on the bed of a patient in a hospice if he or she was the next one due to check out.

The future is here. I have been watching this particular topic for some time. Throw away your electric/hybrid cars. This is where it's at.
