25C/77F today but cloudy all day.
Perth had readings of 25C for the last four days, that equals a record set back in 1984.
I guess we were in a period of Global Warming then also, which probably resulted in Global Cooling until this year (tongue-in-cheek) LOL

wake up at 5am and its bloody raining...don't recall that being on the forecast?
cleared up by 9am, beautiful blues skies.

spent the day replacing some balustrading on the rear veranda.

Disaster management services are on alert. We're expecting wild weather from tomorrow afternoon and extreme cold, which for us is not as cold as many places in the northern hemisphere - still - we aren't equipped for it and it's always a shock despite the fact that winter arrives consistently, every year, lol! Sometimes it's a damp squib. Let's see ... forewarned is forearmed and all that stuff.

It's foul alright. Big storms - thunder, lightning, roads flooding, very chilly. By the looks and sounds of it, we're in for more of the same tonight.

We had hail today - super chilly and wet. My cat occasionally squints up at me from whichever eye is not buried in his tail. He's obliged to go outside from time to time - I'd be unimpressed too!

Have to admit, when I read this I had to smile. Ruby you have a way of writing where one does not even have to use imagination to picture the story. Your words say it all. Write a book - and as you once said to me, don't agonise over the details. Just do it. A born Wordsmithstress.
