I have no intention of buying a copy, but for a George-o-phile it would be worth a punt, I think.
I was surprised to see it turn up on TV so early, so it might be worth waiting to see if Oz TV broadcasts it...

im off to see Corey next week...a big Beatles fan, both as a group and solo, and he's only in his mid twenties, will ask him his opinion of it and weigh up yours and his before buying it.

have tried numerous times to get him to join up here, but i guess with managing a cd shop(manages a chain store,store), and working with his band he has little time left, and what he does he either spends with his partner or partying....hey, he's only young!
have seen his collection, he has the mono and stereo beatles boxset on cd and vinyl, plus all solo albums by the fab four!...wouldnt say he knows as much about them as Gryphon...but for his age, he sure knows a lot about them.

my favoruite film from the are is the original Miracle On 34th Street....
i guess Danny Kaye's "the court jester" was early 1960s...thats another favourite of mine also

Unbelievable Comet !!! I also watched DOA last early morning on TCM !!!! The jazz band in that movie was tremendous !!!! I wonder who they were ? ...lol...what a coincidence
