Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 14-10-2016 I wrote that on the forum months ago, wasn't a conspiracy theory then, I thought it up all by myself... but yes, he's been great friends with The Clinton's for decades.... publicly supported Bill back in the day and Hillary a couple of elections ago, they wine and dine together... and by grabbing the nomination it stops more qualified people taking her on, which makes her look even better, so again, I wouldn't be surprised if if is/was a tactical decision between them to get her elected. They think we are that naive. Of course not all of the Repubs are backing Trump. This is why I say what is the point in voting. They are all corrupt. Politics - Music Head - 14-10-2016 politics or not very well said Michelle Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 14-10-2016 I think she spoke from the heart, as a mother and as a woman....10/10 Michelle Obama.....VOTE 1: Michelle Obama for President Politics - Oceansoul - 14-10-2016 Michelle Obama would get my vote. Politics - Oceansoul - 14-10-2016 Btw, it's not a secret that Trump use to be friends with the Clinton's and supported them. He is a tv personality and knows how to act, not sure why people expected honesty out of him, his desire to project a persona of being a truthtelling, machismo tough guy who can do whatever he wants is an illusion. It's not like politicians aren't known for doing this themselves. I don't know if all politicians really are friends, I do remember during one of the Republican attempts to stop one of Pres. Obama's plans, there was a meeting between the President and House Speaker, John Boehner going on and there were pictures of the meeting afterwards showing friendliness between them which seemed odd considering Boehner talked down Pres. Obama a few minutes later in front of the press. Of course, that's not exactly evidence in favor of them being friends. Politics - 1blankmind - 14-10-2016 What I've always been told, is that it's easier for Republicans to be friends with Democrats and vice versa. Cause of the whole opposites attract and people in both parties are a bit more cutthroat with their own party members since they compete for spots against each other way more often. Interesting, maybe. It seems that on the Republican side, especially the establishment oriented ones, there is an expectation to oppose the President's proposals and to make the Dems look like they are evil incarnate or so it seems. I actually think the Democrats are a little soft on each other compared to the Republicans, maybe it just looks that way since they seem to get pushed over too much. That's one of the reasons I have grown frustrated with my own party, the Democrats, who seem to need a kick in the pants to do what they are elected for which is supposed to be to protect our rights, liberties, and the little guy/girl so when they don't do this, it's upsetting. They should stop playing power games with each other and do their jobs tbh. There are some Democrats who will call others in their own party out, I've noticed. The power behind the throne. If Hillary had to run against Michelle the latter would win hands down. It would be a whitewash - in every sense of the word! |
