Ruby Wrote:^^I bought this too. Have only listened to a couple of tracks so far. I guess there is gravity in space after all ... or on planet ELO ... who knew??!!

RUBY WINS!!!! the objects in the main picture should be floating around - i.e no gravity. Very good my girl!

He's the original bass player for most of the well-known Deep Purple albums but he has also worked with many other bands/solo artists.

i'd never thought of it, but yes I obviously do because I can sit outside(under a verandah of course) and watch lightning or hours.

I guess I find it beautiful, yet powerful...
mysterious yet primitive(is primitive a good word for it??)
and the sound of the 'crack' when it is close, well, nothing else sounds like it, such a pure crisp sound.

SteveO Wrote:Wow! Ruby you have an impeccable taste in music! Eclectic like myself...now do you like any hard rock and or metal? Confusedmile:

Not unless you are referring to Crest of a Knave, for example?! Lol! What I CAN listen to is Haken's Mountain and Wolves in the Throneroom's Celestite ... when in the mood. I find the metal growling etc., quite amusing in short bursts, but generally speaking it all leaves me with a feeling of unease and disturbed equilibrium which I don't like, hence choosing not to listen.

I'm fascinated by the whole ancient Egypt thing. And mountains, for some bizarre reason.

THE JAM "about the young idea"
a 2dvd, 1 cd hard cover boxset....
1st dvd is a documentary featuring interviews with all three members of The Jam plus several others 'in the loop' rom those days,
2nd dvd is a live tv concert from rockpalast(which is German from memory) from 1980.
the cd is the live show on cd....
documentary features early pre-jam home recordings of Weller and the band, early video footage of them and each band member takes as
through the streets of Woking,Surrey describing how things happened...

good stuff, a must or any Jam/ Weller fan.
