Crazy I do not think any of the songs from the classic London Calling album charted here either!except for the title track ..which is my least fav on the album!

I love The Specials first studio album though!

single/ep failed to chart here and rightfully so as "ska" never took off here in a big way!
no live versions of the tracks on here, so i cant post studio versions of a live disc...

i only own The Specials debut album...it is brilliant IMO
and i agree with you about London Calling being the least likeable on the album,yet, it is still a good track, just shows the strength of that double album!

i only discovered these soul guys after hearing The Jam cover this "a" side...loved Weller's version so i tracked down the original...
love that one too and these guys in general...

RACEY "some girls" b/w "fighting chance" 1979
never heard of these guys,guys???, well, you know the Toni Basil hit "mickey"...well, these guys sung the original but it was called "kitty" and featured on their debut set as did this "a" side...
light catchy boy band pop from a short lived UK outfit...dont like the "b" side but i like the "a" side...
single made it to #1 on our charts as it did in the UK

love this single,well, the "a" side anyway....
"b" side is performed by Harold Faltermeyer and both tracks come from the Beverly Hills Cop movie
