you'll enjoy the duet between Roy and KD then Ruby....
Roy "chose" KD to duet with him,,,what an honour for KD!

BEEB BIRTLES & GRAHAM GOBLE "im coming home" B/W "you'll never change your mind" 1979

you guys may not know who these guys are off the top of your head but....
they were the principal songwriters fot Little River Band back in the day...
these tracks came off an album they did together in 1979....
"A" side sounds, obviously, like an LRB ballad, i love it
"B" side has a bit of a Smokie(remember them?) feel happening, i love that one also...
single made it to #2 in Australia,...
here's their Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birtles_%26_Goble

JERRY LORDAN "i'll stay single" B/W "can we kiss" 1959

short lived career for this UK pop star...
only had three charting singles with no top hits...
"A" side a nice pop song for the period, but nothing special...
"B" side is much the same...
single peaked at #26 in the UK
here's Jerome's Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Lordan

there are no links for either track on youtube...
but here's his biggest hit that peaked at #17 in the UK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcTAKHw6Dtk

BARRY BLUE "hot shot" B/W "hobo man" 1973

UK pop artist who had some fame in the UK in the 1970s...
"A" side has an almost Glam sound to it,but it was the era for it, so why not, i love this track
"B" side is pretty good also
single reached #23 on the UK charts

THE ANIMALS "the animals is here-ep" 1964

a four track "ep" by these guys, their first "ep" to be released actually, but not the first they recorded....
"house of the rising sun" would have to be in my list of favoruite 1960s singles....
the other three tracks on here are sublime also...
and they were all "A" side singles in the UK in 1964,
i guess you could call this a compilation ep of sorts???
as individual singles this is how they charted in the UK
"house of the rising sun" #1
"gonna send you back to walker" no charted action
"im crying" #8
"baby, let me take you home" #21
this is the Animals at their best IMO....
here's the bipedal ones' Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Animals

the Captain was member of UK punk group The Damned who recorded a cover of the "south pacific" tune "happy talk"...

JOE TEX "hold on to what youve got" B/W "fresh out of tears" 1964

this may sound stupid, but i'd not heard of Tex until i picked out this single from the box????
i love both sides of this single, awesome stuff...sounds a lot like Jackie Wilson, and i love his music.
Joe is now on my radar for a compilation purchase!
single failed to chart in the UK...WTF!

Not jacking Bro CH 'cuz he's surely not alone--Joe Tex was much better known in the Black music world. He was too intense for most Caucs though he had a hit or two. His Discog--from '65-'79, he was unstoppable: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/joe-tex-mn0000210323/discography Member of a short-live soul singer supergroup: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-soul-clan-mn0000508171 Don't confuse him with another excellent soul artist.
