his best album
one of my saviors of country music

4th album
#33 overall and #1 Country
could have passed on the cover of It's Just A Matter Of Time
Brook Benton owns that
the fans liked it though as it went #1 Country

I prefer this #2

BOB DYLAN "the times they are a-changin' " cd/vinyl 1964

career stats:
studio albums.............37
singles.......................58

this album.....................#20 US...#4 UK
singles:
"the times they are a-changin' ".....#9 UK

third album from Mr.Dylan.....
from the chart positions, the UK was well ahead of everywhere else,
giving him chart credit huger than everywhere else....
as a poet and lyricist the guy had no peers, and even to this day, when he releases
albums of original material he has still got it,,,if you don't believe me, listen to his last
album o original material (tempest).....
so this one, its Bob with guitar and harmonica....
his humour is poison, his scathing comments full of venom and he expresses himself like
no one else can do....
a fantastic album, could have literally chosen five tracks here as best track from this one...
all up, another fantastic listen from a guy who was already at the top of his game before he went electric!

I LOVE THIS ALBUM

worst track: restless farewell
best track: with God on our side

and as usual, no decent Dylan links on YT!
so, in lieu of that i'll post the cover of the song by Manfred Mann from 1965/66!
or those of you who simply don't like Dylan but probably enjoy other artsits recordings of his songs!

Cool! I like Dylan (you know he worked with The Band quite a bit). Admire your passion for great lyrics. I think Jackson Browne is a prolific writer. On These Days he writes "Don't confront me with my failures, I have not forgotten them". I think he was 17 when he wrote it. He hadn't had time to have any failures. Both fantastic composers.
