RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 20-04-2022 this is going to be a huge hit for the Streaming platforms, lets hope more artists/labels follow suit: https://www.msn.com/en-au/entertainment/music/snoop-dogg-explains-decision-to-pull-death-row-catalogue-from-streaming-platforms/ar-AAWmbHZ?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=273a755f8ded4988b0966e6d09833ead RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 23-04-2022 Roger Daltrey's intelligent opinion on Ed Sheeran copyright case and streaming services: https://www.msn.com/en-au/entertainment/music/roger-daltrey-glad-ed-sheeran-won-copyright-case/ar-AAWwpul?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=6efe698be211482382598154eb6fa5c8 RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 24-04-2022 "string theory" and "quantum mechanics" are things that are way out of my scope of thinking but apparently applying either as a theory to time it appears that time may not exist if the brainiacs are correct: https://www.msn.com/en-au/lifestyle/smart-living/time-probably-isn-t-real-but-that-s-not-necessarily-a-bad-thing/ar-AAWwObV?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=50c19552e0af4ec0b69c78bbfd8f4506 but then i read an article a couple of days ago that some astro-physicists believe that time can run forward and back depending upon your position in the universe which ticks another box for another Einstein/Newton theory: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/time-actually-flow-backward-physicists-144900754.html oh the pain!, this stuff gives me headaches but i still read it LOL Sting "speaking words of wisdom....." https://www.msn.com/en-au/entertainment/music/sting-bands-are-for-teenagers/ar-AAWwYnR?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=175a284b33a7447f8c1a045e72e16093 RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - JeromeD - 26-04-2022 Been reading the news articles about the Depp/Heard case. If ever there were two people who deserved each other they are definitely it. He is nothing more than a junkie - constantly out of it - and she is no angel - constantly being caught out. This won't end well for either of them regardless of who wins the case, although I do think Heard has the advantage. And I do not regard either of them as great actors. Quite the opposite. Throw in the fact that they are both prone to violence and you have a volatile mix indeed. Shitstorm United. RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-04-2022 ^^ i agree, Ms Heard is definitely no saint by any stretch of the imagination and Depp, well heres a few: 1: addictions to opioid medications and alcohol for the most part of his adult life... 2: claiming to be part Cherokee/Muskogee Creek Native American but not one of those Nations have ever accepted his claims of authenticity. 3: owned the infamous "viper room" nightclub which was was known for its cocaine fueled orgies and the overdose death of up and coming actor River Phoenix. 4: a member of the so-called 'modern rat pack' with Afflick, Damon and DiCaprio, the name "rat pack" says it all (drugs, booze and hookers) like the orignal Frank Sinatra run Rat Pack.... i always loves "Edward Scissorhands", thought that was an excellent movie as was his performance and that is probably the only movie of his i genuinely liked. i have also watched (off the top of my head but probably more) "chocolat" (too 'arty farty'), "Sweeney Todd" (boring and the humor just didnt work) "sleepy hollow" (that was okay) "the lone ranger" (boring) "charlie and the chocolate factory" (wasnt a patch on the Gene Wilder portrayal of Willie Wonka) "alice in wonderland" (boring) "pirates of the caribbean" (saw the first 2, stupid) "murder on the orient express" (not a patch on the original) "dark shadows" (a vampire parody, quite funny) overall, i find Depp either overstates his parts to the extent of making them look false and forced or he under acts the parts making it look like he really isnt interested in the role but i guess it is a fine line when playing such 'out there' characters that really no-one else would be able (or probably) not even want to attempt so i give him credit for being ballsy enough for some of his outlandish roles. and i think you have to be on the crazy side of normality to do what he does anyway (like Robin Williams)... RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - JeromeD - 26-04-2022 What a twerp. https://uk.yahoo.com/news/youtuber-trevor-jacob-deliberately-crashes-161238187.html RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-04-2022 ^^ he seriously needs to face some sort of Federal Aviation charges even if only for reckless endangerment and have to pay the costs of the FAA investigation at the very least. RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - JeromeD - 27-04-2022 Some more airborne idiots - https://www.thesun.ie/news/8702425/plane-swap-wrong-red-bull-spirals-out-control/ RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-04-2022 there are a lot of crashes involving those Red Bull planes, we had one here, a fatality, probably 18 years ago, luckily the course was in a cordoned off area of the Swan River and not over land, pretty sure one of the pilots/stunt pilots died from memory. but yeah, those guys really do 'live on the edge' with some of their flying as they push it to the limits... RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 05-05-2022 just goes to show that when you abuse children karma can be a bitch in jail when the crims know what youve done.... https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/uknews/man-who-abused-baby-so-badly-his-legs-were-amputated-battered-with-tins-of-tuna-by-inmates-for-two-hours/ar-AAWV8dv?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=ad74f852ddda4c84b31ac0b66c69bd2a |
