Politics - Oceansoul - 04-10-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:from Wiki: Eh, I used this definition: A person empowered to decide matters at issue; judge; umpire. One whose opinion or judgment is considered authoritative or worthy of respect: an arbiter of fashion. http://www.dictionary.com/browse/arbiter Basically, I mean someone who gets to decide what is intelligence or not, an arbiter of intelligence. Anyway. Politics - Music Head - 04-10-2016 guess it's time to throw another few billion $ into Haiti to fix the storm damage Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 05-10-2016 yep....no doubt that we'll be doing the same. you know what would be a good idea.... all the countries put into a kitty held by the UN a nominal amount every year, say 0.5% of their GDP for disasters such as this, that way the money is already there, and everyone contributes, sort of like an insurance policy, that way medical supplies, food/aid relief is taken care of by everyone... and that money would help pay for personnel (military) from the US/UK/AU/CAN etc to help without too much of a strain all at once. Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 05-10-2016 or alternatively, Trump could build a storm proof wall...LOL Politics - Music Head - 05-10-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:yep....no doubt that we'll be doing the same.we already have a funding mechanism it's called UN dues AUS contribution for 2015 - $56,279,329 US contribution for 2015 - $654,778,938 Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 08-10-2016 I think Trump may well have succeeded in handing the Presidency to Hillary: http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/republicans-rush-to-condemn-trump-%e2%80%94-and-distance-themselves-%e2%80%94-after-lewd-video-of-trump-emerges/ar-BBx9UjU?li=AAgfYrC Politics - Oceansoul - 08-10-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:I think Trump may well have succeeded in handing the Presidency to Hillary: Maybe. He has some loyal supporters who won't care and will probably jump to his defense, but for a lot of voters in the general election, it's hard to not see a nail in Trump's coffin at this point. Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 08-10-2016 surely even his diehard supporters are privately if not publicly questioning him now??? not sure how many more nails he needs to seal the coffin mate... he simply goes from bad to worse, and when you cant imagine him getting worse he trumps himself (pardon the pun) yet again. theres a line in an old Sex Pistols song...."he wasn't fit to shovel shit, from one place to another"....! sounds like they had a premonition about him way back when....! Politics - Oceansoul - 08-10-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:surely even his diehard supporters are privately if not publicly questioning him now??? I don't really know, I just notice what tends to be the typical response from some of his die hard supporters. Maybe this new information will sway some of them to not vote for him, but it's not like his feelings towards women has been a secret throughout the election either. Politics - Oceansoul - 08-10-2016 It's good to know some people are publicly calling him out and condemning the things he has said instead of validating him like too many have done already, IMO. |
