Elton John/Leon Russell on SNL
guessing this is an old episode as Elton and Leon cant still be surely promoting their album...which reminds me, i still havent heard the album and i bought it when it got released, guess i'll get to it soon as my "to hear/newly purchased cd.s" pile is gradually getting shorter by the week as ive not unpacked the majority of my collection and wont until ive got me yet to play ones down to a realistic level!.....

M83 on Fallon...
dont like the new song off their new album....a mish-mash of 80s beats,electronica and saxaphone that just dont work together IMO
also Michelle Bachmann interview promoting new boigraphy "my story"...the more i see of her, the more i like her...not sure she'd make a good President, but after the last couple anyone would be an improvement IMO

Me & wifey went to the Maidstone TV studios last night for the recording of topical comedy discussion show Frank Skinner's Opinionated:

Frank is a favourite stand-up comedian of ours. Extremely quick-witted, with considerable cheeky charm, sarcastic as hell, and not afraid to step right over that line.
Managed to end up in the wrong studio, as they were recording a top UK game show (apparently), as well. That was all sorted once we realised what was going on, and we had a cracking evening. Three hours' recording for a 30 minute broadcast show !!
The guests were 6' 8" UK comedian Greg Davies, and rather lovely writer and presenter Victoria Coren.
Great fun. Airs tonight at 22:00...

I have had a few opportunities to attend a TV recording but never went....sounds like a great night out...so you'll probably see yourself on the tube tonight !!!!
I was wondering where you were last night....nowhere to be found on MD !!!!... and no one to play Album Association with !,,,lol.....we all should have another life besides MD !!!!...maybe for a little while anyway ???
