CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:everything Elvis Costello does is done for a reason and made with sheer class/professionalism IMO

...Including his marriage to Diana Krall.

Barbara Streisand's Christmas Album...What can I say, I was antiquing with my mom and I started feeling nostalgic. My mom had it when I was growing up, and now I have it too!

One of my favorite albums of all time. How are you liking it Jazz?

As for me, I was a bit caught up with studying the past 2-3 months, but I made this haul a while back;

And then today, to celebrate getting a job and finishing my first week of work I splurged at the record store and grabbed;

(If this doesn't show up, it was some cheap, and apparently unknown, compilation; "Midnight Moods" by Thelonious Monk).

^ Great buys LMD! Congrats on your new job. Have you finished college yet? I am not familiar with Peter White and this album cover...

Thanks SteveO. Finished college a few years back. Finished law school ~3 months back. Took the bar about 2 weeks back. Waiting for the results of that until November.

Peter White's basically a smooth-jazz guitarist. It's a really mellow and relaxing album. Cheesy, but nice. The other album is the complete opposite; it's Miles Davis' "Agharta." Smile

Good luck in becoming a lawyer LMD! Well done!
