My bad,
I should have elaborated my reasoning previously.

What a performance by Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open final. Mindboggling stuff. To win the tournament - now a record 21 wins - at 35 - after he was on the brink of defeat and after having both Covid and surgery recently. A true champion. The best comeback I have ever seen in a tennis tournament. A winner never quits.

^^
he seems like an all-round nice guy also

Interesting fact about Nadal. He is right-handed in everything he does except tennis. His uncle taught him to play left-handed to give him an advantage over other players.

back to Young/Rogan and Spotify:

looks like sometimes Crazy Horse/e-Street Band member Nils Lofgren is also pulling his songs from Spotify in support of Grumpy Neil.

not sure Spotify would really care about Young, Mitchell and Lofgren but if the likes of Beatles/McCartney, Elton, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Pink Floyd requested their music to be removed from Spotify over Rogan then they might think about it, until then....

^^
now i see an article on the internet that basically mentions some of those established artists above could be part of an "old school revolt against Spotify", namely U2,Coldplay, McCartney, Elton and The Boss...

I see that Joanna Lumley has stated that there are too many people jumping on the 'mental health' bandwagon. She is 100% correct. Even major corporations (you seriously wonder at the mental capabilities of the senior management of these companies if they are so easily influenced). Those things we all experience from time to time - depression, loss, joy, happiness, ecstasy etc, etc are human emotions. We all have them and we will all experience these things in our lifetime. We don't need to label them as 'mental illness' every single time we have a shit day. It's called life. Deal with it. For God's sake, if you don't experience a bad day every now and then how are you ever going to know when you are having a good one?

So we had 'bi-polar disorder' - an excuse to pardon bad behaviour - you don't hear much about it now do you?
Next - 'mental health' - another excuse to pretend you are not responsible for your actions.
Wonder what the next fad is going to be...

well said Jerome
don't forget PTSD
we've all had it
and it's an excuse for everything

Ooh I forgot about that one. Thanks for the reminder. Another one for the ever-growing list. It's so convenient for those who CHOOSE to suffer from these fabricated afflictions that they cannot be diagnosed as actually having them. The quacks must be making a fortune. Yes, there are people who really do have these conditions but they are few and far between.
