I am currently reading Astronomy, the definitive guide to the universe by John Duncan.

Very interesting; I can finally know each planet better. If you want a book that devote each chapter to a planet including the sun, I suggest you read it.

I have just finished reading 'How to be Popular' by Meg Cabot

This is what I have learned

- 'The One' is the guy you've kown since you were seven, not the quarterback
- Just being yourself is better than being popular (but if you change what you wear and straighten you hair, it will make you happy)
- Don't pick up books a ten year old has put down, whilst babysitting.

Heavy stuff.............

I am always in the process of reading something. Been that way since I can remember.

Just finished Tender Is The Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Written in 1933. Kind of a let down for me. A story of rich people vacationing in Europe. Just not much there. Poor people are much more interesting than rich people, Although I did love Fitzgeralds classic The Great Gatsby, this one just falls short in substance.
Of course my mood is always a factor.

I usually alternate my reading between fiction and non-fiction.

Next up, The Final Move Beyond Iraq by Mike Evans

The Final Move Beyond Iraq - Mike Evans - 2007

A little too preachy for me, in the literal sense. A lot of bible prophecy stuff. I did like the historical facts about Persia and the birth of the Islamic facist movement. The point of the book is that he believes Iran is the real problem over there and without dealing with their nuclear objectives we will never solve anything. Don't want to get into my political views but I pretty much agree with that. Also some good interviews with inteligence people and world leaders.

Grade - C

next up, Sabbath's Theater by Philip Roth

I'm juggling a few now. I'm trying to read "Justine" by Marquis de Sade, "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, and G.W.F. Hegel's "Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences." It's not working so well with the latter. I'm too stubborn to use secondary texts if I can help it.
