Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 29-09-2016 Then theres the other two Presidential contenders who are trailing significantly in the polls... Do they eventually drop out? If they do, where will their supporters votes go?? Politics - Music Head - 29-09-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:Then theres the other two Presidential contenders who are trailing significantly in the polls...Assume you are talking about Johnson and Stein? They are the nominees of their party no they don't drop out, they lose and fade away Politics - Music Head - 29-09-2016 Jerome Wrote:A question for all you Yankee Doodle Dandies (just kidding) - has the debate shifted any votes/sentiment in the USA? Has it really made any difference to the race?before and after polls show not much change Hillary with a 2-3 point lead Politics - Oceansoul - 29-09-2016 Third party candidates tend to have a hard time getting the attention and recognition they need to reach voters other than talking to voters in person and holding town halls where they go. The two major political parties that is Democrats and Republicans have the most sway and power in elections. Politics - Oceansoul - 29-09-2016 Trump wants to remove the ACA which is what a bunch of Republicans have been trying to do ever since Obama made it law and they fought the proposal too. So tired of it, I don't even know what his healthcare plan is...lemme guess it's something that'll benefit the wealthy and leave most of the rest of us with expensive medical bills and we won't be able to even afford painkillers. Regressive politics as usual. The ACA isn't perfect, in fact, I don't think it goes far enough. Healthcare being treated as a luxury is repugnant to me. So frustrated right now. Politics - Lovely Linda - 30-09-2016 I have AHC. It is not that afforable. As some have said in the beginning it is cheap but the longer we keep it the more expensive it gets. Now, I don't have much left after paying the Marketplace. Politics - Lovely Linda - 30-09-2016 On the other hand, I can not pay my own heathcare as some of the Repubs have mentioned by opening up a account to pay for healthcare. The insurance companies are part of the problem. AHC does not match the insurance companies . Politics - Lovely Linda - 30-09-2016 Don't know how the AHC will continue when all the insurance companies pull out. That is where the ones who passed the AHC are going to run into a problem. The insurance companies are pulling out because they claim they are losing money. Politics - Oceansoul - 30-09-2016 And what is Trump's healthcare plan then? What will he replace the ACA with if he manages to repeal it? That means kicking people who are currently on it off it.
