It is my guess that alot of country music singers have had a experience with
the Lord. Take Willie for instance who wrote Family Bible. Ronnie has a testimony on youtube.
Hank Williams wrote I Saw The Light.
There is something about country that us church goers also like.
We connect with country singers because of the songs and the lifestyles
of the singers. Alot of us have lived their songs I think.
We know where they are coming from and they at least some
I know can connect with our lifestyle.
The country singers had to have experienced the church world
in my opinion to do gospel so well.

I love those 2 albums simply because they are such a change for him
and proved he could cross the lines
yes I was getting burnt out on the rock Bruce
after the Joad album I only have Wrecking Ball (unopened), but coming up in my rotation
actually I think you told me to get that
I listened to Tim's The Rising and liked it but never got it
I listened to his last album High Hopes on Spotify and didn't care for it at all
