this one follows in the same vein as his previous solo work...
lots of folky ballads, intelligent lyrics, emotive guitar playing and a good band supporting him at all times...
deluxe version of this album contains a bonus track on the first disc and a second disc with around seven other recordings...
all up, another pleasant album from one of the most consistant guys in the industry...

I vaguely remember MH and maybe also Ruby talking up this guy some time back and i'd not heard
of him but I locked his name in the memory vault for future usage...
anyway, I found this one in a discount bin some time ago and bought it....
this is superb stuff IMO....
the guys sounds just like Bob Dylan on this album, same nasally tones, even the way he sings his phrases is Dylan...
damn, in fact, if I never knew who was singing here, I would have laid money on it being Dylan...
double meaning lines, slightly sarcastic lines...all points to Dylan.

one of those "3 for $10" discount bin pick-ups a while ago....
I cannot find any info on this guy from either Wiki or Allmusic....strange indeed, considering according to amazon he has
a good half dozen album releases under his belt....
anyway,
its folky with a slight country twist in the mix...
similarities to both Dylan and Neil Young, I couldn't pick which albums of theirs I could compare it to but someone who left
a review on amazon says "blood on the tracks" and "harvest", i'll stick with them because I cant pinpoint my own albums.
and the cover art could most definitely be an NY cover I guess...
all up, not a bad album, definitely worth the $3.33 I paid for it.

fifth studio set from this female folk duo from the southern State of Georgia...
picked this one up as a "3 for $10" pick from the discount bin...
I remembered a few of their singles from back in the day, that's why I picked this up...
album is okay I guess....
lots of nice harmonies and melodies and nice folky tracks but....
all the songs are on one level here, theres just no variation(or very little variation to be precise)...
a few I don't like but most of which I do like, but the bad ones let the score slide a bit more than i'd have liked
either way that's the way it rolls and....
