Well this discussion escalated quickly o.O.
Something does have to be done about gun control though, as long as there are easy ways for criminals to get firearms that means our lives are in danger. A compromise needs to be reached between lawmakers, firearm safety advocates, and gun owners before more citizens die. We don't need more school shootings, club shootings, etc to continue to happen to understand that there is a problem and a solution is needed to prevent them, JMO. Anyways, moving on.

Big explosion in NYC Manhattan. At least 25 injuries.

Anything can happen Oceansoul with folks who don't like each other to the point of being just down right rude. It happens all the time on these forums.
But, a Administator who treats his members the way he does who are contributing is uncalled for.
I think it's just me though. I'm not as stupid as some might think.
I'll save him alot of trouble and maybe keep his BP down.

You can disagree with someone without being insulting, IMO. On the internet, it's very common for people to resort to using ad hominems to push an argument which doesn't actually help their case. -shrugs- I get upset sometimes with people in political discussions too as I can get too emotionally involved in them, but it helps to walk away from the computer when it gets to that point and come back once I've cooled off.
Also didn't realize you two don't get along.

Best thing to do is just walk away and if the problem persists just ignore the person which I should have learned before now
but sometimes it's hard to do

Yikes. One of my brother's lives in NY, but he's not near these current explosions and hopefully he'll be fine. This is a really bad situation.

So Mayor Bill de Blasio says there isn't enough evidence to be certain it's terror related, but the explosion might be an intentional act. They are still investigating what the cause was and if someone did it on purpose or not. That's what I read on CNN's website. Hopefully those who were injured will be alright.

Last I heard there are 29 injured. One is serious.
Fox had ex-FBI on tonight. He said he disagreed with the mayor. FBI said it may not be foreign terrorist. It may be homegrown terrorist.
He did think it was terrorist however. He said the three explosives were too much of a coincidence. Sounds right to me.
Guess we will find out more in the morning. Hope that one person along with all the rest will be OK!!
