Politics - Music Head - 05-04-2014 and don't forget George Soros Politics - SteveO - 05-04-2014 ^ Who is he? Politics - Music Head - 05-04-2014 SteveO Wrote:^ Who is he?sorry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Soros Politics - SteveO - 05-04-2014 Thanks MH ! Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 06-04-2014 Music Head Wrote:sorry ive heard of him previously but not as much as the wiki site does... this guy is ruthless, he would bring down Governments if he didnt like them...like Bush Administration! he broke the "bank of england"...! this guy is an "economic/financial hitler" IMO. Politics - SteveO - 08-04-2014 Quebec, the French majority province of Canada, voted in the Liberals last night. They now have a majority replacing the incumbent government of the Parti Quebecois(PQ)! They only lasted for 19 months. The PQ, established in 1968 and attaining power in 1976, are proponents for an independent Quebec. The first referendum was held in 1980. 60% voted NO for separation and 40% voted YES. A second referendum in 1995 was very close. 51% said NO to sovereignty/separation and 49% said YES !!!! There has not been a referendum on separation since then due to an absence of a PQ majority. Now the separation factor can be laid to rest for four years. Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 08-04-2014 so what side of the political fence are the "liberals" in Canada SteveO? are they conservative like here or more middle of the road/left leaning like the US Liberal's??? Politics - Music Head - 08-04-2014 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:so what side of the political fence are the "liberals" in Canada SteveO?I can never wrap my head around that the fact that those 2 terms have the opposite meaning in our countries can't we just be 1 world Politics - SteveO - 08-04-2014 Like the US Democrats? But really in the middle...involved in a lot of screw ups like the failed gun control debacle, spent millions on it to register gun owners and it really never got completed!!! also caught in a sponsorship scandal...typical bastards skimming off the top! Elected a leader Stephane Dion ( no relation to Celine ...lol) that spoke poor English! Former PM Trudeau's son Justin is now the leader. He has charisma like his old man! Early 40s, good looking, longish hair, admitted to smoking grass! He may topple the reigning Conservatives but the New Democratic Party ...NDP are the opposition at the moment and are popular in Quebec. They lean more toward the left than the Liberals. We're talking federal not provincial politics here. Should be a crap shoot in the 2015 election! Politics - Lovely Linda - 09-04-2014 Music Head Wrote:I can never wrap my head around thatI think we are already entering a One World Government (New World Order). The first Bush even talked about that. |
