another xmas giftcard purchase today...
this time a best of Gene Pitney triple disc set(50 tracks)...
reason i bought it was because all the talk on here lately about Gene i wanted to get out some of his music and i found i
only had a couple of vinyl albums,nothing on cd except the duets album with George Jones...i had to rectify that oversight!

set contains all of his US,UK,Australian charting singles from the 1960s,plus several duets and three or four of his tracks
he recorded in italian for the italian market...should be an interesting set!
i still have around $200 left on my giftcards so theyll be used accordingly and whenever i either remember something i
want or to purchase new releases throughout the next few months

a birthday giftcard purchase from july which only just got delivered today...better late than never!
im not a huge fan of Price, but fell in love with the vocals here when radio promoted the album upon release earlier in 2014...
just loved the tracks with the frailty of his vocals,reminds me of the whole John Cash "american recordings" thing
