His version of 'Little Wing' on NLTS is quite brilliant.

Blink 182 on Kimmel show

new album out
sounded just like.........the old albums

Darryl Hall on Fallon...

never a big fan of Hall & Oates but did enjoy some of their singles....not a bad performance with The Roots throughout the show.

Simon Cowell was also interviewed, although i admire his honesty and bluntness all i see are $ signs in his eyes as he waits for the next nobody to exploit on "X-Factor".

LOL...
my parents saw these guys on something over the last week or so...said they were a good "punk" band....pretty sure you can all guess what my reaction was to the "punk" tag.....cant believe my dad would consider them punk when he is a big Sex Pistols fan?????!!!

Right but what do you call them? If you have to stick them somewhere genre-wise?

"indi-crap" is a new genre i have invented for Blink 182, not sure if it will catch on though.....seriously though, punk to me has to contain the following attributes:

angst
rebellion/anti social traits
power
political/social comment

and were also "working class" kids from the slums of urban decay

whereby acts like Blink 182,Sum41,Green Day etc are all middle class upstarts...

ps....i do love Green Day, they are a very good rock band...but up there alongside The Clash,i dont think so

their "bullet in a bible" live dvd/blu ray is brilliant also, i dont call them punk, but they are as close as it gets to The Clash in their heyday IMO

Portishead on Fallon

nothing to make me want to check them out further, however they did do a couple of good remixes of Paul Weller tracks back in the late 1990's (i guess they must have done remixes for others also, just never heard any?)
